Preheat Times
Aircraft must be preheated if the temperature at KPOU, as reported by NOAA falls to or below 32ºF during the 24 hours before the start-engine time.

Here is the PDF for the (green cart) New Heaters. The procedure is very similar for both Pre-Heaters. The yellow cart (unlike the green card) does not require you to set the Heat level to high. It defaults to this setting. Also the remotes buttons on the yellow cart do not tend to get stuck on (which will drain the batteries), However the remotes on the green cart have a tendency to stick. Hence the extra step to see the light on the remote turn off.
